Johnny Depp is the Theatrical Romantic inspiration for this installment for my series on Kibbe for Men. Take a few looks at Johnny in his prime- he was eerily magnetic and so artfully suave in the 80’s and 90’s. He embodies the charming and dangerous tortured artist so well, making him a very appropriate example upon which to contemplate the male version of the original Kibbe “Femme Fatale.”

Physically, Johnny is smooth and more compact with a bit of sharpness, particularly around his edges and his facial bones and nose. His silhouette requires a bit of sharp angularity and close fitting, shapely items that do not overwhelm his stature with bulk or heaviness. He also looks great with intricacy, particularly in the form of stacked and layered delicate jewelry.
