Services and Style Packages

  1. Can you tell me what my Kibbe type is?

I will explain to you what your Yin/Yang patterns are in terms of bone structure, undercurrent, and scaling/height, along with facial features. I will tell you what ID I believe you best resonate with, as well as reasoning as to why I don’t think you best fit other IDs in terms of both physicality and outfit accommodations. What I cannot do is “confirm” your type, as that is something only you or David Kibbe can concretize.

2. What if I don’t like the style of my Kibbe type?

There is no style/aesthetic linked to the Kibbe types. Every type/ID can wear any aesthetic, so long as the garments chosen accommodate the individual silhouette. Please see my post on this subject.

3. Can you tell me what my essence is?

If desired, I can give you a breakdown of physical features and expressive details (if a video showcasing this is included) that resonate with McJimsey style essences, along with ways to honor those essences through clothing and detail.

5. Do you work with men?

Yes, I am happy to work with men and develop men’s style.

6. What angle should I take my photos/videos from?

Please take your photos straight on from around chest to chin height. This is approximately the perspective of someone sitting down in front of you while you stand a few feet away so that your entire silhouette is in clear view. Please do not take photos from below the chest or above the head as this will skew your silhouette.

For videos of you walking, you can place the camera chest to chin height at the other side of the room and walk naturally around. This just gives me an idea of your silhouette in motion/from another perspective.

Please try to make your photos accurate to what you look like. For this reason, I do not encourage mirror photos to be used for silhouette as many mirrors are warped (shortened, lengthened, skewed reflections).

7. What pose should I take my photos in?

Please stand straight with arms at your side when taking silhouette and outfit photos. Good posture and equal weight on the feet if possible. A clear view of how the clothing interacts with your frame is needed. Posing, angling, shifting the hips, placing one foot in front of the other etc, will warp my view of the garments and I will not be able to give you as much insight.

8. What lighting should I use for color analysis?

Please stand in front of a sunny window against a relatively clear space or outside in the shade against a plain background. Please make sure your photos are free from filters. To test the accuracy, take a photo of your hand in this lighting and compare it to how your hand looks in real life.

9. What if I don’t have enough outfit photos?

You can take photos of outfits you’ve created in dressing rooms (no need to buy), borrow outfits from someone around your size, or create different outfits from what you already possess. Finally, you can save the unused outfit feedback options for the future. (For example, if you have 7/10 outfits to submit, you can send 3 outfits to be reviewed in the future).

10. Will your style board be customized to me?

Yes, all my style boards are curated for the individual.

11. How long are the written analysis PDF’s and what is the average breakdown?

On average, the written analysis spans 8-12 pages.

12. What is your turnaround time

I will give you my most accurate turnaround time upon inquiry. My usual time is 7-10 days after purchase.

13. Can I ask you questions after your analysis has been delivered

Of course! I am highly responsive to questions and discussion.

Still, if you require further concrete support and assistance you can book more style support here.
