The Natural Essence is a yang essence and is considered the most dynamically active of all the essences. This makes it the most tactile, sensorial, and physically expressive. Think of someone who is sporty, hands-on, and in touch with their body. It is also the most casual essence, the opposite of formal, tailored, or polished. The Natural type tends to be straightforward and grounded. Priorities like comfort, ease, and practicality drive their stylistic choices. If something gets in the way of movement or functionality, it’s unlikely to be worn.
This essence thrives in environments that are outdoorsy, crafty, physically or mentally demanding, and unstructured. There is often a sense of natural leadership, strength, and capability. You might imagine someone who can build a fire, cook over it, and lead a group through the forest — all with ease and presence.
Confirmed Examples of the Natural Essence
These figures are understood to have a strong or primary presence of Natural Essence, based on their visual style and energy.
Laura Hutton
