Besides many scathing reviews regarding the character development and cliché ridden plot of the Netflix series “Emily in Paris”, the show’s costume designer Patricia Field has also been highly criticized for the polarizing outfits she created for this show.
I won’t be doling out my own opinions of the outfits according to my personal tastes. Instead, I will be looking at a handful of these wardrobe choices through the lens of the Flamboyant Gamine. Lily Collins is a great example of a Flamboyant Gamine and in this video, I’ll give some explanation as to why some outfits work on her frame while others do not.
