12 Seasonal Color Palettes for Men: Light Spring
Welcome back! Today, we’re continuing our series on the 12 seasonal color palettes for men. In this video, we’re focusing on Light Spring—a fresh, warm, and radiant color season.
Understanding Light Spring

Light Spring sits between True Spring and Light Summer on the seasonal spectrum. Here’s how it compares:
- True Spring vs. Light Spring – Both are warm, but True Spring is warmer and brighter, while Light Spring is lighter first, then warm.
- Light Spring vs. Light Summer – Both are light-dominant, but Light Summer comes from a cooler season.
If you want more information on the seasonal color system, check out my linked videos in the description. And remember—these seasons exist on a spectrum, so individual color assessment is essential.
Key Features of Light Spring

- Low contrast – Most features (hair, skin, and eyes) have similar light values.
- Warm undertones – Hair and skin may have almond, apricot, peach, or light caramel hues, but they’re not excessively warm.
- Best colors – Light, warm shades like yellows, corals, peaches, and soft greens.
Light Spring Color Palette

A typical Light Spring palette consists of light and warm hues, but for practicality, I’ve also included some darker shades. Most people don’t wear light colors from head to toe, so if you’re adding darker colors, try wearing them away from your face to keep the most flattering shades near your features.
Celebrity Examples of Light Spring
Woody Harrelson

Woody Harrelson looks radiant and smooth in light, slightly warm colors. These shades don’t compete with his natural tones; instead, they enhance his features.
❌ Avoid: Overly dark or cool colors—they create contrast that draws attention away from his face and makes his natural coloring look disconnected.
Nick Carter

Nick Carter shines in lighter, warmer hues, but Light Springs can also pull from their sister seasons (True Spring and Light Summer) for more variety.
- Turquoise and aqua look especially striking on Light Springs.
❌ Avoid: Heavy black, rich mustard, and olive green. These colors are too dark, too warm, or too heavy, creating a mismatch with his lighter features.
Paul Bettany

Finding unedited images of Paul Bettany in various colors is tricky, but in light, warm shades, he looks effortlessly polished.
- Light Summer colors can work on him, but they don’t have quite the same warmth.
❌ Avoid: Very dark, heavy shades—they make him look like he’s floating on top of his clothes rather than blending with them naturally.
Simon Baker

Simon Baker glows in light, warm shades, with some variation.
- A muted olive can enhance his warmth beautifully.
❌ Avoid: Cool colors that dampen his golden undertones, making him look less vibrant.
