12 Seasonal Color Palettes for Men: Bright/Clear Spring
Hey everyone, welcome back! I have another video in my series where we’re going through all 12 seasonal color palettes for men. Today, we’re looking at Bright (Clear) Spring.
Where Bright Spring Sits in the Seasonal System

Bright Spring sits between Bright Winter and True Spring.
- It has the electric vibrancy of winter, with the gentle warmth of spring.
- Compared to Bright Winter, it’s warmer.
- Compared to True Spring, it’s brighter, more vibrant, and less inherently warm.
What Makes Someone a Bright Spring?

The Bright Spring man has:
- A strong sense of contrast
- High chroma (intense, saturated coloring)
- Warm undertones, often showing:
- Apricot tones in the skin
- Almond undertones
- A reddish quality in the hair—not always obvious, but under certain lighting, it’s super apparent
The Bright Spring Color Palette

Bright Spring colors are:
- High in chroma—bold, clear, and intense
- Moderate to lighter in value
- Leaning warm, featuring:
- Orange
- Red-orange
- Warm pink
- Teal
- Turquoise
- Warm purples
I’ve also included neutral and darker shades for practicality because, let’s be honest, most people aren’t wearing bright colors head to toe every day.
Bright Spring in Action: Celebrity Examples
Zac Efron

Zac Efron is a classic Bright Spring, and we can see how the right colors make a huge difference:
- Brighter, warmer colors make him look lively, fresh, and defined. Even lime green, which is hard to pull off, works effortlessly on him.
- Muted, subdued colors drain his intensity. He loses that natural pop.
- Darker, duller colors weigh him down; his features look less striking, and the overall effect is flat.
Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson is another Bright Spring who looks great in bright, high-energy colors:
- Brighter, zingy hues bring out the undertones in his hair, which aren’t always noticeable. His skin looks even and healthy, and his eyes pop.
- Dark, muted colors have a flattening effect; they don’t match his skin, hair, or natural contrast, so they just dull his look.
Jack Lacey

Jack Lacey comes alive in Bright Spring colors:
- The right colors balance his image, giving a cohesive, even distribution of color.
- Good color helps enhance his natural features; his most flattering skin tones and the full dimension of his hair.
- Muted, dark shades take away his vibrancy and emphasize less desirable tones like under-eye circles or splotchiness.
Richard Madden

Richard Madden already looks like a prince, but Bright Spring colors enhance his charm:
- Bright Spring shades highlight his features, adding vibrancy and making his look feel more alive.
- Black and white or dark muted colors make his appearance feel dimmer; there’s no conversation between the colors and his skin.
- The colors should enhance and exaggerate your natural qualities, and for Bright Springs, bold, warm tones do just that.
That’s it for today’s breakdown! Next up, we’ll be diving into Bright Winter.
